No, I don't agree at all, I think it is a complete abuse of the person's human rights. You are effectively asking these people to go to war, to potentially kill and witness all manner of horrible situations. It is bad enough for the troops who seek out this line of work to deal with, let alone those who don't.

The trauma of that period could ruin a person forever. It is completely not fair to force someone into it.

If you want to have a national service to help ease the economy in times of instability such as now, you could do something else worthwhile, like assisting in community projects, building works, etc which will help enrich your local area, rather than being trained to kill.

So I am catching jokes at lots of people in America shitting bricks over plans to reform health care. Some of it, I have found damn right offensive, such as the Faux News report saying that our doctors are really just terrorists and that our doctors don't have prestige or status, which can be found here:


But my absolute favourite was this link www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx which claimed that we work on a points system and if you are crippled or dying or blind then our NHS won't save you. They went as far to say that "People such as scientist Stephen Hawking wouldn’t have a chance in the U.K., where the National Health Service would say the life of this brilliant man, because of his physical handicaps, is essentially worthless."  WOULD THAT BE THE SAME BRITISH BORN STEPHEN HAWKING, WHO IS CURRENTLY A PROFESSOR AT CAMBRIDGE? Looooolz. You will see they had to edit the article with an apology.

Obviously I don't live in America so don't fully understand how the system works, but all I see is people who need treatment not being able to get it. I find it offensive when our system is attacked, when if we have a cancer patient, they get treatment right away, it isn't pased on what plan they have. I saw a comment once where some girl was saying her insurance company wouldn't pay for her to try a weight loss drug. I just don't get it. I know our system is not perfect, there are many flaws but at the end of the day, I am asthmatic, I only have to pay £7.20 for my medication. If I am having difficulties breathing, I can walk in A&E and not worry about cost. I read that 43% of asthma sufferers in the USA struggle to pay medical bills to the point they often skip treatment. That is disgusting. These treatments cost $100 - $900 a month. A MONTH? WTF. Look to your medical companies monoplizing drugs and treatments so only certain companies get them.

I know some people are worried about the level of care if they get a public health care system. Well, we do have a private system here to you know. Most companies offer private and additional healthcare as a benefit when you work for them, or if you can afford it, you can go private. But the bottom line is everyone deserves to get treatment. I find it beyond offensive that American media, in order to convince people in their country it shouldn't happen, are completely fabricating stories about our system.

Half Blood Prince. Even though I PoA slight edges it for me as my favourite, a lot of questions get answered in HBP and the story really does crash towards the final battle.

As the film is coming out and as I watched the leak, I have decided to re-read the books to see if I find them any more entertaining the second time round. I wish I hadn't bothered.

I have done it a weird way, watched the film, read New Moon, then re-read Twilight whilst travelling to and from Spain and started on Eclipse again yesterday. I don't know if I will actually be able to bring myself to read Failing Dawn again.

Now, if you are reading the book for the lulz and don't take it seriously then fair enough. I know most of you have a good grip on reality. But it is down right scary how many people are actually obsessed with Edward. I am quite surprised to see people I thought were quite independent, liberal and femnist going gaa-gaa over this misogynistic crap. Not to mention how badly it is written. Eclipse especially reminded me of how disturbing the relationship between Bella and Edward is. Dimantling her car to stop her from going to see Jacob, saying he will stop her, she isn't allowed to go and see him. It is deeply disturbing. I just can't believe legions of teenage girls (and some who aren't teenagers, let's face it!) who write about wanting to find their 'Edward' Sry to say, but it isn't beautiful, it is scary. Gushing about how amaze you think Edward is a sad thing to me.

Let's also talk about TwiMoms, who I find even more disturbing than the teenage girls tbqh. You are grown women and you should be able to realise that the crap SMeyer is peddling is bullshit. I am not saying people shouldn't read it, but you should be aware that it isn't healthy, not be talking how you love Edward and want him to be biting you pls. Sort it out. He is meant to be 17 for a start. That shit is illegal in some states.

The books are entertaining, although not for the reasons I think they should be. But SRS BSNS fans to the left pls. Edward and Bella as characters just look like they have stepped out of a domestic violence campaign. I just wish the world would wise up to this. It's fiction, you might say. Yep, it is, but you can't deny the Twilight fandom take it too far.

Although, NGL, RPattz made me think about being Team Edward for like a good hour after I watched the film. Also, there is a rumour that JENSEN ACKLES is going to be in New Moon. WTF. Bitch please!
